This booklet addresses policy makers and researchers at all stages of their careers, and provides highlights on institutional efforts in the EU to adhere to and promote the principles of Open Science (OS) and RRI.
The report deals with various policy focus areas including Open Access, FAIR Data, Gender Inclusion & Non-discrimination,
Research Integrity, among others. It aims to offer a clear understanding of the present policy environment and anticipates the trajectory of research practices influenced by these policies.
In total, 107 institutional policies were mapped across 14 PATTERN pilot institutions. These policies range from strategic documents to guidelines and thematic documents like Gender Equality Plans, all emphasizing or mentioning alignment with OS and RRI principles
